68. Organic Grass Fed Roast

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 2 lb organic grass fed grass finished chuck roast
  • Splash avocado oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 8 organic garlic cloves
  • 1/2 organic grass fed stick butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 sprigs organic rosemary

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Wash and peel the garlic and wash and remove the sprigs of rosemary from the branch.
  • Wash the bay leaves.
  • Place in a food processor with the butter.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Heat a large cast iron skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Once heated, add the avocado oil.
  • Once heated, add the roast to the pan. Seer on each side for 2 minutes or so.
  • Then, add the bay leaves to the pan and cover the roast with the butter mixture.
  • Place in the oven.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Once the roast is finished cooking, remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes covered in foil. Then, slice.
  • Serve with your favorite vegetables.
