INGREDIENTS
- 1 2 lb organic grass fed grass finished chuck roast
- Splash avocado oil
- Salt and pepper
- 8 organic garlic cloves
- 1/2 organic grass fed stick butter
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 sprigs organic rosemary
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wash and peel the garlic and wash and remove the sprigs of rosemary from the branch.
- Wash the bay leaves.
- Place in a food processor with the butter.
- Blend until smooth.
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet to medium-high heat.
- Once heated, add the avocado oil.
- Once heated, add the roast to the pan. Seer on each side for 2 minutes or so.
- Then, add the bay leaves to the pan and cover the roast with the butter mixture.
- Place in the oven.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Once the roast is finished cooking, remove from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes covered in foil. Then, slice.
- Serve with your favorite vegetables.
