40. Matcha Lattes

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 teaspoons organic matcha powder (it’s very important to have high quality matcha)
  • 3 tablespoons warm filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon organic unfiltered honey
  • ¼ cup organic grass-fed milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Spoon the matcha in a cup or mug with the warm filtered water.
  • Whisk until the powder is fully blended and the matcha is a tad foamy (I used a bamboo matcha whisk).
  • Then, add the honey to the matcha. Stir well.
  • Then, pour the milk into a stainless-steel cup.
  • Steam the milk using an espresso steamer. Tilt the cup at a 45-degree angle and swirl slowly until the milk foams.
  • Pour the milk and foamed milk over the matcha. Top with more honey if you would like.

ICED MATCHA LATTE

  • 1 teaspoon organic unfiltered honey
  • ½ cup organic grass-fed milk
  • 2/3 cup filtered ice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Spoon the matcha in a cup or mug with the warm filtered water.
  • Whisk until the powder is fully blended and the matcha is a tad foamy (I used a bamboo matcha whisk).
  • Then, add the honey to the matcha. Stir well.
  • Add the ice.
  • Then, pour the milk into a separate stainless-steel cup.
  • Froth the milk using a handheld frother. Tilt the cup at a 45-degree angle and swirl slowly until the milk foams.
  • Pour the milk and foamed milk over the matcha. Stir with a straw or tall spoon gently.
